About this 3D model

This statue of a Sphinx was found in Athens, in the Kerameikos, built into the Themistokleian wall. It was originally set atop a grave stele. Sphinx statues were often placed at the entrance of important places such as temples or santuaries, or used as part of funerary monuments. This is typically the product of an Attic workshop.
