About this 3D model
I designed this door vent in order to be able to prop the door open for more chamber cooling. This reduces the noise from the printer but allows increased airflow. 8mm x 3mm round magnets are used to secure the vent to the door, to the printer, and (optionally) to the side printer while not in use. Each magnet hole is ~6mm deep so they can be double stacked for strength. The magnet on the edge that touches the frame of the machine attaches to a magnet inside the frame of the printer so you will need to pay attention to the correct orientation of that magnet. Printing tips Material and layer height aren't that important Print with the hex grid touching the build plate Support is required along the edge that touches the printer Updates 2023-04-08 Added MAGNET_TOLERANCE with a value of 0.1mm to the magnet holes and depth for easier insertion (thanks for catching this @DominikJezior_641266 )
