About this 3D model

This is a ceiling fan remote holster for model UC7225T. My fan is a Hampton Bay model but perhaps this remote is included with other fans. You can operate the buttons without removing it from the holder. The remote is about 46mm x 22mm x 150mm, and the holder goes up to the bottom set of buttons, about 56mm. There was a curve on the remote, so while the holster conforms to that curve, there are flat strips on the back to allow it to sit flush with a wall. There are also #6 ANSI countersunk screw holes for attaching to the wall, or you could use double sided tape or Magic Release adhesives on the flat parts. I did not need supports. I built a 45 degree angle under the top flat spot so that there is no unprintable overhang. This was built in OnShape, and the CAD is available here .
