About this 3D model

This is a new take on a spool clip for keeping the loose end of your filament spools from coming free and getting all tangled up. It attaches to a common size of binder clip, usually labeled as “small” and measuring 19mm wide. The included profile is set to print 10 of these, but I also included an STL, STEP, and Fusion 360 file so you can customize the design or print a different number if needed. Note that they are designed to print with the two small pegs sitting on the bed. This doesn't provide a lot of surface to adhere to, but so far it has printed successfully on a Bambu A1 Mini. You could clean your bed or use glue stick as appropriate for your printer if they come loose. Either way, I'd suggest keeping an eye on it while printing to watch for any trouble. Once assembled to a binder clip, just push the loose end of the filament through the little hole, and then clip it to the side of your spool. I hope you find them useful!
