About this 3D model

Summary This is a case for the awesome Portapack H2 . The Portapack from ShareBrained is an add-on for the HackRF. The HackRF from Great Scott Gadgets is a Software Defined Radio peripheral capable of transmission or reception of radio signals from 1 MHz to 6 GHz. What to download? Get the files that say "revisited" for printing (see NOTE and NOTE2 below) if you are printing the pieces in a normal printer. Get the files that say "revisited ... weerg" if you are sending the files to a professional print service like weerg. Get the original files if you want to experiment with the first design (it is a lot tighter, but this depends on your printer). NOTE: There are some reports that if you have the genuine HackRF, you might need to print the pieces at 101% or 102%. The case is designed to be tight, but not extremely tight. NOTE2: The revisited files should not require any modification. They are an improvement over the original files: 1) less tight fitting 2) better sd card slot 3) bigger holes for reset and dfu button 4) better fit, specially on the 2 bottom SMA Parts HackRF+Portapack H2+battery (clone): https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DmU7GQX Alternatively you can get the HackRF+Portapack H2+battery+case (the translucent plastic one is based on this design): https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_9zbXMk Screws (M2.8x10mm and M2.8x8mm): https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EGTqd0z [optional] 3d printing pen (to fill the led holes with translucent material): https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_EQPkfm1 Extras For the speaker I used one from an old lenovo laptop. Connect the yellow and red wires to the speaker and leave the black wire floating (from the H2 kit). The speaker was attached with thick foamy double sided tape under the left side of the LCD. The battery was attached with thin double sided tape, in the middle of the 3 sets of pins of the Portapack pcb Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VhhOtr-MG8 Speaker test: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XkaGV9muvbg Related links Get the genuine HackRF: https://greatscottgadgets.com/hackrf/one/ Get the genuine PortaPack H1 (not compatible with this case): https://www.sharebrained.com/portapack/ Custom firmware: https://github.com/eried/portapack-mayhem Changelog 2022-01-06: Adding some extra info to the Summary 2020-04-06: Updated up and down pieces for better fit between them, nicer alignment with the status leds and micro sd card 2020-04-11: Updated down piece with extra slots for pins in the hackrf and stronger middle piece between the two CLK SMA and up piece with small tweaks 2020-10-07: Uploaded revisited versions of all the pieces.
