Here is a flat swing lid for my existing XL Trash Can . NOTE: This lid does not fit the STANDARD -MODE version of the XL Trash Can. There is a separate model for a swing lid that operates on that one. The lid features a centre disc, which is ½ decoration and ½ hidden secret. If you like, you can press the disc out from the underside and replace it with a badge of your liking. Head to MakerLab and use the ‘Make my sign’ tool to create a round sign that is 77mm x 77mm (and 2mm thick). Assembly: Remove the brim from the lid portion (sorry - I had to use a brim to ensure total flatness). Place the outside ring on a table face down, and then place the main lid face down as well. Align the holes. Press the two connector pins through the holes and press them in all of the way. Add the ‘weight block’ to the underside by sliding it onto the bevel connector. Place it into the XL bin that you printed beforehand, and you are set to go! No need to thank me. ?
