VW Bus “Splash” this is a lithophane lightbox. the brighter the LED lights used the better, I used a double row along the back perimeter and it looks fantastic with the light on, even better in the dark, really pops. This is a multi version of a light box, the “Volkswagen” logo at the bottom also lights up like a tradition light box, but the top panel is a full color lithophane. Note: There is a 4 color Lower Definition Print profile of this lithophane for this box for those that only have 1 AMS. There is a 8 color High Definition Print profile of this lithophane for this box for those that have 2 AMS's. See below for the colors used for each print profile. Please look at the plate description so you get the one you need. the main difference is the shading and the blacks on the Higher def versions, on the standard version the blacks look a little more purple with the color Blending. this is a 2 part print Profile 1: Lightbox frame and the back. I suggest using a PEI plate and print face down, you can add a brim, but I just used the liquid glue and it printed fine without lifting. The back has a white reflector build into it. the parts are already oriented properly in the files. Profile 2: High Definition 8 Color Lithophane front panel . I printed on PEI plate with liquid glue as well. I used the bambu CMYK bundle for this print. there is a negative part over the lithophane panel that will trim and leave a lip on the lithophane so it'll fit in the frame properly, it's tight but fits perfectly. just go slow when pushing it in. add a little superglue around the edge on the back from the inside. Profile 3: Lower Definition 4 Color Lithophane front panel .
