About this 3D model
I've recently created a 2x2 Gridfinity storage container for nozzles . You can stack other Gridfinity bins on top of that since the nozzles lie flat inside the bin. I've also recently created a baseplate for the A1 that is mounted on top of the printer. There I'm not too concerned about stacking bins on other bins, which is why I created this model. Print Details: Please make sure to use a 0.4mm nozzle, since the tolerances are designed for that nozzle. If you're feeling spicy try 0.6mm nozzle with arachne enabled. Let me know how it goes! I of course am not taking responsibility for frustration stemming from nozzles not fitting the slots. I've experienced that too much when testing out tolerances :( Features: With this you can store up to 5 nozzles inside the bin. The nozzles are staggered in height for easier retrieval as well as aesthetic purposes. The cutouts are really tight. That was important to me since I have this bin on top of the printer and I didn't want anything to rattle. If the tolerances are too tight, let me know and I'll release a print profile with looser tolerances. You could also just scale the model by a percent or so. There are slots for 4 magnets at the bottom, which I recommend to use if you plan to use the bin on top of your printer, as to mitigate the entire bin from vibrating and rattling. Let me know what you think and have fun! Updates: 2024-05-11: Changed wall order to print outer walls first, which should help with a better fit. Also changed infill pattern to cubic.
