Quasar is a free, combat focused TTRPG that blends mechanics from PVP tabletop skirmish games into a cooperative experience . The game can be played either as a narrative driven system with a GM, or as a co-op skirmish game where enemy characters move and act based on easy to follow decision trees and an aggro system. Regardless of how you choose to play, Quasar's focus is on the classic space opera feel of epic shootouts, reckless melee combat and valiant feats of sci-fi heroism ! The setting for Quasar takes place In the year 2430 within the third quadrant of the Orion Cygnus arm of the Milky way galaxy. Here powerful factions and their opposing ideologies threaten to plunge the quadrant into all-out war, ultimately it is a place where brave individuals can face against overwhelming odds to shed some light on an increasingly dark and unfair existence. Quasar is still in development but will always remain free, you can support its development on Patreon or Myminifactory to get access to an ever expanding library of 3D printable universe specific miniatures and wargaming terrain. The download does not include any 3D models, however the game is miniature agnostic so we encourage you to have fun with whatever models you have lying around and whatever terrain you and your friends can build together.
