About this 3D model

PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST: This magnetic fidget has been so finely tuned and has very tight tolerances for the free spinning reels inside I highly recommend using the attached 3mf file and the Cassettes MUST be printed at a 0.12mm layer height in order to spin freely. PLEASE NOTE: In order for the Cassette Ejector to Functional properly and push the cassettes out with ease the Cassettes must be loaded with the "A" or "B" side text to match "THIS SIDE UP" text on the ejector. They can be loaded the other direction but they don't always come out. In some of my early prototypes I had some color bleed, especially on the white cassettes, I tweaked the design to eliminate as much as possible and then I also found White SILK filament best for hiding any color bleed. The Cassettes and the Cassette Holder are both printed with NO SUPPORT, as they are oriented on the attached 3mf file. When using the attached 3mf files your printer will pause at the correct layer to place in the magnets by hand. Simply place (8) 8x3mm magnets inside each half, don’t forget to reverse the magnet polarity between the two halves. I found it easiest to place them inside the holes while the magnets are stacked up and then just slide off the stack once each magnet is dropped in place. Video of magnet insertion (different design, same process)...https://www.patreon.com/posts/kickflip-magnet-121228896?utm_medium=clipboard_copy&utm_source=copyLink&utm_campaign=postshare_creator&utm_content=join_link After all magnets are in place press resume and wait for the printer to finish. This Fidget was printed on a Bambu Labs X1C using an AMS with the standard 0.4mm nozzle and printed at a 0.12mm layer height. The fidgets move best when printed on the standard textured PEI build plate. Ensure you have good bed adhesion. Each Side has a 2x4 magnet pattern, using the 8x3mm magnets. The magnets I use can be found here…. https://linktr.ee/mzmdigitaldesign. Please note if different magnets are used your fidgets may not function as intended. If you want to put your Player/Ejector onto a keychain these little ball chains fit perfectly thru the hole... https://a.co/d/b8GTcAb I did hide comments on my Home page because I think it was causing lots of extra unnecessary scrolling to find posts and files, also sometimes questions get hid in the comments. If you have any questions please ask in the group chat or send me a direct message. Thank you! Mike UPDATE: This revised design is superior to the original design so I removed the Original post and I also added a cool little magnetic brim removal tool to make brim removal easier. (The 3mf file does contain an inner brim for the cassette reels to help keep them in place that will need to get pushed out)
