One is the surface-mount, the other is embedded. Embedded needs to add a pause command in the G code, and put the magnetic into the groove when printing halfway. The embedded style needs to add a pause command in the G code during printing, put the magnet into the magnetic groove when printing halfway, if you are using more than 1kg of filament, you may need to use a filament riser, the filament riser is recommended to be printed 100% solid.
