About this 3D model

Purrfectly functional. Impossibly cute. A directional reading lamp shaped like a cat paw — the bean pads glow softly with warm LED light, making it as decorative as it is useful. The bulb fits invisibly inside the paw and is secured with a satisfying quarter-turn lock mechanism, no screws needed. If you want a more powerful and diffused light, you can print the entire paw in white and the beans in black or any other color you like :) What's included: Files for all parts of the lamp body, paw head, and diffuser. Technical specs: LED bulb diameter: max 18 mm (fits directly inside the paw) Recommended brightness: 200–400 lm (I used a 400 lm directional lightbulb) Power: Low power LED only, less or equal to 3W — filament or halogen bulbs will overheat the plastic of the paw and may damage it (If you are using LEDs with power around 3W, you can print the Vented Paw, that ensures a better heat exchange). Assembly: quarter-turn (bayonet-style) — paw locks onto body with a 90° twist Wiring: manual hardwiring required (basic electronics skills needed) Recommended filament: PETG PETG handles heat far better than PLA and is strongly recommended since the bulb sits inside the print. PLA can work with very low-lumen bulbs, but PETG is the safe choice for long-term use. Skills required Basic wiring / lamp assembly. You will need to connect the bulb to a power cable manually. No soldering is required if you use lever connectors (e.g. WAGO-style). Perfect for Desk setups, bedside tables, kids' rooms, cat lovers, cozy reading nooks. Made with love for cats and good lighting.
