Model Description:This download contains a highly detailed model of the T-60 light tank. Documentation and references for the real vehicle were rigorously studied to make the model as geometrically accurate as possible, except in the cases where printability would have to be sacrificed (such as the fender thickness). Historical Description:The T-60 was a light tank used in the early years of World War 2. The vehicle was armed with a 20mm TNSh autocannon, alongside a 7.62mm DT MG. The vehicle served as a replacement for the T-40 light tank. The T-60 was meant to equip reconnaissance units and only possessed light armaments. The vehicle featured thicker armor than the previous T-40, as well as better armament in the form of the 20mm TNSh cannons. The T-60 saw service during the defense of Moscow and during the initial German invasion. Between 1941 and 1945 nearly 5,500 T-60s were produced. In Armored Advance:In armored advance the T-60 is a very cheap autocannon platform with little other utility. The armor is insufficient to stop incoming fire, and the 20mm is mostly only useful as an anti-infantry weapon. The vehicle does possess the ability to scout for other, more heavily armed units, however.
