About this 3D model

Model Description:This download contains a highly detailed model of the T-35 multi-turreted heavy tank. Documentation and references for the real vehicle were rigorously studied to make the model as geometrically accurate as possible, except in the cases where printability would have to be sacrificed (such as the fender thickness). Historical Description:The T-35 was a heavy tank which saw limited use during the interwar period and early World War 2. The vehicle was armed with a plethora of armaments, including up to seven 7.62mm DT MGs, two 45mm 20K cannons, and a 76mm KT-28 howitzer. The vehicle was massive, weighing 35 tons, despite poor armor thickness of only up to 30mm. The vehicle has an iconic silhouette due to possessing 5 separate turrets and requiring a 10-man crew to operate. The T-35 was primarily used as a parade vehicle due to its extensive stature; however, it did see limited combat on the front lines as well. The vehicle's combat tenure was unimpressive, with almost all of the 48 combat ready vehicles being lost to mechanical failures during operation Barbarossa. This was due primarily to poor maintenance and excessive use however, with the vehicles typically traversing over 500km on poor terrain conditions prior to breaking down. In Armored Advance:In armored advance the T-35 is a relatively pricy tank considering its firepower. Furthermore, the armor is insufficient to stop much incoming fire, and the weapons are best suited for anti-infantry duties. The primary novelty of the vehicle is its health pool, consisting of 35 points compared to the 10-20 found on other contemporary vehicles. This health serves to inflate the vehicle's survivability, so even while receiving effective incoming fire, the vehicle can keep running for a while unless heavily focused on. Ultimately the vehicle is mostly just a fun gimmick, however.
