Model Description:This download contains a highly detailed model of the KV-1 equipped with the ZiS-5 AT gun. Documentation and references for the real vehicle were rigorously studied to make the model as geometrically accurate as possible, except in the cases where printability would have to be sacrificed (such as the fender thickness). Historical Description:The KV-1 was a heavy tank developed by the Soviet Union during World War 2. The vehicle was well armored for the time, particularly the later versions with additional applique armor. The KV-1 (ZiS-5) was armed with the more powerful 76mm ZiS-5 cannon instead of the L-11 found on earlier versions. additionally, the vehicle featured several 7.62mm DT MGs. In Armored Advance:In armored advance the KV-1 (ZiS-5) is a well armored and armed vehicle which keeps the KV-1 platform relevant into mid-war matches. It is visually similar to earlier KV-1s, but the armor is notably thicker due to add-on plates. The upgraded ZiS-5 cannon is fairly powerful and can deal with medium armor at moderate ranges, with a high damage stat. The vehicle does cost a decent number of points to field, in return for its significant presence on the battlefield.
