Model Description:This download contains a highly detailed model of a Soviet T-20 armored tractor. Documentation and references for the real vehicle were rigorously studied to make the model as geometrically accurate as possible, except in the cases where printability would have to be sacrificed (such as the fender thickness). The model is quite small, and consequently relatively fragile so special care must be taken when removing support material. Historical Description:The T-20 was a Soviet-produced light armored tractor during World War 2. The vehicle entered service in 1937 and approximately 4,400 would be produced through 1941, with the vehicle seeing service as an artillery tractor throughout the war. Special variants would be equipped with anti-tank armaments, such as the ZiS-30 mounting the 57mm ZiS-2 cannon. In Armored Advance:In armored advance the T-20 is a light troop carrier, able to move a squad around the battlefield while providing limited support with its hull-mounted MG. The vehicle does not possess an appreciable amount of armor and will not be protected from anything beyond small-arms fire.
