As soon as I saw the winner of the August Poll I knew I wanted to make an Orca first! Orcas were one of my favorite animals as a kid - I absolutely loved the movie Free Willy, and Keiko was my favorite of them all. I used to draw orcas a lot, and the fishing boat my family used to own had an orca inspired name. It was magical having a pod swim by one time while we were on it.
