It is said that the blood of bears runs through his veins. As a child, one harsh winter, he was lost outside the village and later found sheltering in a small cave alongside a massive hibernating bear, curled up against her for warmth. In battle, Hakon is the first to demand the utmost effort from his men, leading by example. He is the first to break through the enemy shield wall, the first to crush his opponents under the might of his axe, and the first to challenge rival leaders, defeating them with unrelenting ferocity.
