About this 3D model
Note: purchasing this 3D model will allow you to print these parts for your own personal and non-commercial use (standard MyMiniFactory non-commercial license). Joining my tribe is a great way to extend that license to share prints with your friends and to make money selling prints based on my models. Tribe memberships also come with significant discounts to all my 3D-printable models! Electric air pumps often have a threaded connector at the output end of hose, requiring their own special adapters. Unfortunately, they also normally do not include an adapter for the common wing pump bayonet connector, which means you have to piggyback three adapters to connect one of these pumps to a Duotone wing or kite. Finally, there's a product that solves this problem and reduces the adapters down to one. This unique 3D-printable design makes use of the cap threads insted of relying on the bayonet strength to hold it in place, making it stronger and more airtight than any other 3D-printable adapter. The threaded part of the adapter has two possible spots for rubber O-rings. I had a set of AS568 O-rings available. The larger size is AS568 size 117 and the smaller one is size 113. You can use the adapter without the O-rings, but I recommend having at least one of them or both. You can also use plumber's (teflon) tape to make the connection tighter. I have tested this adapter with several different electric pump hoses and adjusted the design so that it is compatible with all of the ones I had access to. The thread seems to be poorly standardized, so there may still be pumps out there that are not compatible with this adapter.
