About this 3D model
Happy New Year 2025! There has been wide speculation that the cheaply mass-produced air pumps used for wingfoiling and kitefoiling might not have the most accurate pressure gauges. If you have access to multiple pumps, there's actually a very easy way to compare two pumps by connecting the hoses together and applying pressure on one pump. Both gauges should show the same reading. By checking many pumps, you can find the ones that don't show the correct pressure. It helps to have one person read the pressure on one pump while another is comparing that readout to the gauge on the second pump. You can probably perform this test by taping two hoses together, but if you have a 3D printer, this little plug will allow you to do it too. If the other pump has a different style connector, you can use one of my 3D-printable adapters to convert it to be compatible with the standard wing/kite bayonet used on this part. The photos show my innovative Twist Lock adapters used in conjuction with this interconnect adapter. Check my pump adapters in this collection. My Duotone adapters are now available in three different "flavors": standard wing bayonet, SUP bayonet and electric pump threaded connector.
