About this 3D model

This is a green sand ram used for compacting sand by hand in a green sand mold. For casting a mold must be made and in order to have the sand hold its shape it needs to be pressed into the pattern with force. The triangle part or Peen is used for the initial compaction while the Butt side is used at the end when filler sand is added.
