About this 3D model

Update (2023-12-08): I found a mistake in the original version — I had messed up some of the extrusions and interior geometry. This remix fixes that, and also includes some printability improvements. Originally, I tried printing these rear sections of the BLV AMS Riser in ASA/ABS , but ran into major warping and layer shifts. The geometry had too much mass and not enough bed contact, which caused serious reliability issues — even with proper enclosure and settings. I eventually gave up and switched to PLA Tough , which worked much more reliably. ? What I Changed Flattened the back panel Replaced the curved rear surface with a 1mm chamfer to reduce lifting and warping Interior geometry was cleaned up and corrected Model is now much more printable on standard beds ? Print Notes If you’re using ABS/ASA: use a brim, strong bed adhesion, and an enclosure If you're tired of failed parts: print it in PLA Tough — it's more forgiving and still strong enough for this riser This update is ideal if you’ve had trouble printing the back two pieces of the BLV AMS Riser — especially in warpy materials like ASA. The flatter surface and small chamfer help anchor the part more reliably to the bed.
