About this 3D model
A Rotating Component Storage Unit Printing Parameters: Layer height: 0.2mm Center shaft infill: no less than 50% Remaining infill: 15% Dimensions: Large Boxes: 60x60mm, 100x100mm, 150x150mm, 200x200mm Small Boxes: 30x30mm, 50x50mm, 75x75mm, 100x100mm Small Box Heights: 25mm, 45mm Additional Materials: Adhesive Countersunk screws: M2.5 x 10mm Metal dowel pins: M2 x 10mm The design principle is inspired by a woodworking project for a rotating fruit bowl found online, differing from commercially available double-layered, flower-shaped designs. This model serves primarily as a structural demonstration and is not recommended for practical use as a parts organizer; more cost-effective options exist on the market. However, files for larger dimensions and varying heights are included. I refrained from printing these larger versions due to concerns about warping, thus foregoing verification. Should you choose to print larger files, it is advisable to: 1. Print a miniature version to familiarize yourself with the assembly. 2. Increase the infill density of the central shaft for enhanced strength. 3. Print individual small boxes to assess structural integrity and strength. Multi-layered designs were not pursued due to concerns about insufficient strength in the printed central shaft.
