The wife wanted a thinner frame for some of the 20 x 20 Hueforge artwork around the house. Design goals and features 9mm thin borders to showcase more artwork and less frame 10mm low profile for a more flush fit against walls Simple and durable locking system that accomodates all but the thickest hueforge prints (inspired by the awesome ULTIMATE HUEFORGE FRAME ) Built in mounting points at the top of the frame that allow you to compensate for prints that are heavier on one side Option for stands built into the frame for placing on desks etc. Separate hook attachment to be used with 3M command strips for easy, mess-free mounting. The Hook has been designed to match the inner contour of the mounting points. It should hold the frame securely in place against the wall, while remaining easy to install and position The pictured frame was printed with Wood PLA, but any material should work. I suggest printing in PETG if using this outdoors. You will need to print either Plate 1 (no stands) or Plate 3 (with stands) and Plate 2 (the lock). Plate 4 (the Hook) is optional. Assembly is simple - align and press fit the lock into the frame after inserting the artwork. This was designed with sufficient tolerance to provide some friction and also allow for easy removal. The stands are a tight fit with the frame and may need to be gently tapped into place with a rubber mallet. Align your 3M command strips with the back of the hook attachment and apply (see image).
