About this 3D model

Model Description:This download contains a highly detailed model of a 1940 model KV-2 equipped with the 152mm M-10 howitzer. Documentation and references for the real vehicle were rigorously studied to make the model as geometrically accurate as possible, except in the cases where printability would have to be sacrificed (such as the fender thickness). Historical Description:The KV-2 was a heavy assault tank developed by the Soviet Union during World War 2. The vehicle was well armored for the time, which was necessary considering how large a target the 52-ton vehicle was. The vehicle was meant to destroy enemy fortifications and server more as artillery than as a tank. The vehicle was not considered particularly effective due to its size, as well as poor speed and maneuverability. Furthermore, the turret could only turn on level ground. Due to these shortcomings only 334 were produced. In Armored Advance:In armored advance the KV-2 is poorly armored for its cost. The primary niche of the vehicle is its ability to knock out enemy infantry, as well as do very significant anti-tank damage if it finds itself in range of something that it can penetrate. The gun does have a one-turn downtime between firing due to the weight of the ammunition. Contact Information:If you face any problems with this vehicle, whether they be related to printability, integrity, or historical accuracy of the model, please contact us at tcr.designs.2022@gmail.com. We will do what we can to rectify any issues and improve the quality of the product for everyone.
