About this 3D model

Description It was high time I build a brass insert press rig. There were several designs available on Printables and Thingiverse, but me being me, I had to design my own over-engineered version with the parts that I have at my disposal. I took inspiration from Adafruit's design. After posting the make on a Facebook group, I got several requests for the stls. So here they are. Some things to note: Files such as “rail_stop x4.stl" mean you will need to print 4 pieces. All parts can be printed in PLA except “solder bracket.stl” which comes in contact with the soldering iron. It needs to be printed in ABS, ASA or at least PETG. you can use cable tie to secure the belt to the Front and Rear brackets. In the spirit of open source, I have add the STEP files for you to refer, edit and remix. There is also a 3mf with the parts all placed for Bambu Lab printers. Please note that the design choice was based on the items I have at hand. Enjoy your build. that's all folks.
