The upper part requires a washer to maintain proper spacing and prevent tension on the sensor system. If you’re using the bed-leveling sensor , make sure to use a supported mounting setup , as the Orbiter extruder/hotend can slightly bend the printer’s frame measurement system. Only M3 screws are needed for assembly. The thermistor connector (x1c) needs to be re-crimped or replaced with a JST XH 2.54 connector to fit properly. ? Recommended Print Settings It’s best to print this using Voron-style tuning presets : Layer height: 0.2 mm Walls: 3 perimeters Infill: 30–40% Material: PETG or ASA (for higher temperature resistance) Nozzle temperature: 240 °C Bed temperature: 70 °C Cooling: 50–60% fan speed (avoid full cooling) ? Compatibility & Tuning Klipper firmware is highly recommended – it helps you achieve much higher speeds and accuracy. Perform a PID tuning for your nozzle temperature to ensure thermal stability. The temperature sensor (thermistor) doesn’t need to be changed – the original CR-6 SE sensor works perfectly with this addon. ?
