Turn any bed into a discreet, ready-to-use restraint station that remains completely hidden from sight. This fully 3D-printable system stays tucked neatly under your mattress, so you never have to put away your bedroom restraints or awkwardly stash them when company comes over. The device features a self-retracting spool that holds 5 feet (1.5 m) of rope. The automatic locking mechanism engages once all the rope is pulled out of the spool. Once engaged the rope must be spooled back in completely for the device to let out any more slack. The restraint pulls with a constant tension so all the slack is removed and leaves you in a tight and vulnerable position. The device has a lock override switch so you can add more slack or release the restraint easily. When under the bed it is kept out of reach for the person restrained. This restraint offers has three different top covers for different mounting options. The bed-frame insert slides directly into standard metal bed frames and stays invisible once the mattress is in place. The flat-surface mount version provides five screw holes for secure attachment to wood, platforms, or other surfaces. The slat bed cover allows you to mount this to a mattress frame that uses slat rails. The width between bolts is 3.5". Different length bolts can be used to get the desired slat height. The device is also portable and can be tied off to any anchor point using the built-in rope pass-through hole in the back of the housing. Tie the system to anything, such as hotel beds, chairs, or eye bolts. The entire restraint stays discreetly hidden under the bed when not in use. There are no bulky straps hanging out, no visible hardware, and no cleanup required after play. The download includes a complete set of high-quality STL files, complete parts list and a detailed step-by-step printing and assembly instructions with photos. The restraints come with a standard version and a mirrored version for more versatile mounting options. Required parts are inexpensive and easy to source: 6 ft (1.8 m) of 550 paracord, one coil spring (approximately $2.50 on AliExpress), miscellaneous M3/M4 bolts and nuts, and one small spring from a standard ballpoint pen.
